No. 8 Swan House is located on Tewitfield Marina just outside Carnforth on the Lancashire and Cumbria border. Lying in the beautiful North Lancashire countryside alongside Tewitfield Locks on the Lancaster Canal it’s a fantastic place to stay with easy access to some of Britain’s best loved countryside.

Modern Living

The house is a luxury holiday cottage in Tewitfield offering a spacious relaxing lounge, tv and dvd player and dining area and downstairs toilet. Off the lounge is a delightful balcony taking in views of the marina and beyond. Upstairs you will find 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom, 1 en suite plus a separate family bathroom. There is also private parking.

The modern, fully fitted kitchen offers everything you need for a stress free, relaxing stay including electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher, washer dryer and ample storage.

The living area is very light and airy with a comfortable sofa and seating to relax into and patio doors leading on to the balcony and seating area. Free wifi is available throughout the house.

The bedrooms are both on the first floor with the master boasting views over the marina and countryside beyond. The master bedroom has a modern ensuite with shower. The family bathroom offers both a bath and a shower. Linen is provided for all the beds, however, we do not provide cot linen. Towels are also provided. Travel cots can be provided on request.

8 Swan House enjoys a perfect location being only 5 minutes from junction 35 of the M6 makes it simple to visit the historic city of Lancaster, the Lake District and slightly further afield such as Manchester and Liverpool. The picturesque villages of Kirkby Lonsdale and Cartmel and the Yorkshire Dales are less than half an hours drive away.
